As of a Braided line like Berkley fire line that i use alot when i fish jigs and spinner baits lets you feel the bite better due to the line has no stetch to it, so when you do set the hook the power of the hook set goes straight to the hook therefore increases your precentage of hook sets in heavy cover. Also remember a fluorescent line is highly visible for you too see and the fish too.
